At some point, vehicle owners experience the inconvenient task of having to replace a flat tire. Vehicles are typically equipped with everything needed to get the job accomplished. If the flat occurs while driving, slowly guide the vehicle to the side of the road and initiate the warning lights.
Remove the spare tire, jack/lug wrench from the rear of the vehicle. Use the lug wrench to loosen the nuts on the flat tire. Position the jack under the frame of the vehicle according to the manufacturers instructions. Raise the vehicle high enough to easily remove the flat tire after removing the nuts.
Put the spare tire on the vehicle and loosely replace each lug nut. Lower the jack until the vehicle is solidly on the ground. Finish tightening the lug nuts with the wrench. Put the flat, jack and wrench back into the vehicles rear. Drive to the nearest repair service station.
